Next Steps!

Hello! Long time no see!

So, I'll just get into it. I have been away due to some new changes! I'm back in school, specifically studying Creative Writing. The first step for me in my education is to get an associates in Creative Writing before I move on to a university to major in writing for TV and Film.

This is a very exciting part of my journey! I've been working hard to improve my writing, through school and by taking various classes outside of school. I would highly recommend "The Writer's League of Texas," if you're looking for a great selection of classes. I have learned so much from taking their online courses.

Something I want to add to the journey I'm on is finding a job that allows me to enjoy what I'm good at: Writing. I currently work in a less than creative atmosphere, and want to change that. Real world experience in the world of writing is something I'm eager to do. I am someone who typically follows their passions, so finding a job while I'm in school that would allow me to do that would be ideal.

I'll end on this note: Life is what you make of it. I am someone who struggled with addiction for ten years and thought I was a lost cause. I don't feel that way anymore and it's because I put work into myself and worked on crafting my skills. This may come as no surprise, but putting in the work works!
